Daughters of the Nile donate to Shriner's

Fort Scott Daughters of the Nile President Jackie Warren and her husband Allen reported to the Shrine and the Nile on their trip to Galveston, Texas, to deliver items to the Shriner's Burn Hospital at the annual Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 22. In addition to delivering 61 boxes of quilts, hospital gowns, "ditty" bags and other items from the Azrim Temple in Pittsburg. ...

The 2010 Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Relay Center at the Mound City Christian Church was very successful with 506 boxes collected from Bourbon and Linn counties. Churches and organizations donating boxes were Mound City Christian Church, Mound City First Baptist Church, Fort Scott Community Christian Church, Fort Scott First Baptist Church, Fort Scott Apostolic Christian Church, Fort Scott Southern Baptist Church, Fort Scott Diamond Community Church, Fort Scott Presbyterian Church, Uniontown Baptist Church, Fulton Methodist Church, Pleasanton Christian Church, Cornerstone Fellowship Home Churches, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Richland Grange.. ...
