She was born July 10, 1927, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of John Owen Smither and Dorothy Eleanor (Manges) Smither. She married William Allen Graves Sept. 10, 1945, in Fort Scott, and he preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1994. She later married Milton O. Haugen July 25, 1997, and he preceded her in death in November of 2011...
