Cassidy Waide is not your typical 5-year-old girl. During her birthday party last month, Waide decided to accept donations in lieu of gifts. With the help of her parents, Waide chose CASA as the charity which would be the recipient of the donations. Changes coming for Farmer's Market (Local News ~ 04/26/10)
Some changes are in the works for the 2010 season of the Fort Scott Farmer's Market. Organizers of the annual market, which opens Saturday at Skubitz Plaza, have changed its schedule in order to be more accommodating to customers. The market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, and from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays throughout the season, which runs through October.
