In preparation of the income tax filing deadline, the Fort Scott Post Office is offering extended hours to accommodate the local procrastinators. According to Fort Scott Post Office Postmaster Robert Vacca, any item dropped off in the lobby or in the box outside the building before midnight Thursday will be postmarked April 15.
