Two candidates for each of three school board seats in USD 235 and two candidates for one position in USD 346 survived the Tuesday primary to compete in the general election. Rural Fort Scott resident Mark Crystal and Uniontown resident Lynne D. Oharah will move on to the April 3 election, looking to capture USD 235 school board position No. 1. A recent national study has shown that the number of women who receive a regular, annual mammogram has decreased over recent years.
