Two candidates for each of three school board seats in USD 235 and two candidates for one position in USD 346 survived the Tuesday primary to compete in the general election. Rural Fort Scott resident Mark Crystal and Uniontown resident Lynne D. Oharah will move on to the April 3 election, looking to capture USD 235 school board position No. 1. Study: Rate of annual mammograms declining

A recent national study has shown that the number of women who receive a regular, annual mammogram has decreased over recent years. It's a trend that Mercy Health Center radiologist Charles Medbery said can be attributed to several factors.
