Ella Mae Harris was born Dec. 5, 1929 in Fulton, Kan., to Thomas Frederick Lyons and Nannie Brown Lyons. She died peacefully at her home in Port Angeles, Wash., on Feb. 13, 2016. Arcadia man dies in Bourbon County wreck

An Arcadia man died in a one-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning southeast of Fort Scott. A 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 64-year-old Alfred Rose of Arcadia was southbound on 250th Street when the vehicle went off into the west ditch. The driver over corrected and came back onto the road, which caused the vehicle to overturn several times and the driver to be ejected, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log...
