City commission approves resolution for East National project

Fort Scott City Commissioners on Tuesday discussed funding for a future project to make improvements on East National Avenue. The commission also approved a resolution, as presented by attorney Garth Herrmann with GilmoreBell, the city’s bond counsel, that would authorize construction of improvements on East National Avenue from National Avenue east to approximately the railroad tracks.
