On Feb. 4, Fort Scott City Commissioners approved by a 4-1 vote a change order for work completed on a project to make improvements on Horton and Sixth streets. The commission approved a motion by Mayor Tim VanHoecke to approve the change order, which was for “Corrective Action for Rejection of Defective Work” on the project. The Fort Scott High School girls’ wrestling team competed in the Class 4A regional tournament Saturday in Paola, finishing in third place as a team. The Tiger boys’ team finished in second place at the SEK Tournament Thursday and will next compete at the Class 4A regional tournament Saturday in Labette County...
