The Fort Scott High School Tiger softball team (1-1, 1-0) beat the Chanute Blue Comets (0-2, 0-1) 12-6 to take third place in a varsity softball tournament late Tuesday night in Fort Scott. The Tigers took on the Blue Comets in the third game of a four-game tournament to start the 2019 softball season.
