Rex Alan Hixon, age 64, passed away on Sept. 28, 2017, in Gainsville, Fla. Rex was living in Clermont, Fla. He was born in Fort Scott, Kan., Nov. 30, 1952, to Lyle and Maryetta (Tanner) Hixon of Redfield, Kan. He attended Redfield grade school, graduated from Fort Scott High School and Fort Scott Community College and attended Pittsburg State University.
