Mildred Louise (Boyle) Leonard went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Mildred was born on Dec. 5, 1933 to Charles and Agnes Boyle in Las Vegas, N.M. At the age of 7 she moved to Fort Scott, Kan., where she was raised by her grandparents, Charlie and Minnie Phelps. ...

June Brumbaugh, 61, of Gulfport, Miss., died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Gulfport. She was born in Fort Scott, Kan., and had been a resident of Gulfport for the past 25 years. June enjoyed camping and the outdoors and became quite the hunter and fisherman. She loved to cook for her family and friends, especially for gatherings. Darwin Ray Badders, Uniontown, Kan., passed away July 3, 2013. He was born in Bush City, Kan., July 9, 1935, the son of Darwin Dee and Roberta McGinnis Badders. He grew up on a farm near Bush City. He married Pauline Ruth Bruner on April 12, 1955. To this union were born four children. ...
