Singmaster reunion, Mo-Kan Jolly Circle Club meeting

Descendants of Roy and Louise Singmaster gathered at the Crane HobNob for a family reunion, June 20, 21 and 22. Over seventy enjoyed dinner on Saturday evening. Sunday they were joined by cousins and friends for a chicken dinner with all the trimmings. Three aunts were presented with beautiful corsages.
Peggy Singmaster brought the Singmaster history book she has been gathering for all to see.
Isabele Singmaster, received word that his mother had fallen and broken her hip. She lives in Oregon and is the sister of Marjorie and Dot Singmaster.
Those attending enjoyed playing cards and other games in the evenings. Beverly Peel and Jeannie Comsrock were in charge of the dinners. It was decided to have another reunion in two years.
The Kan-Mo-Jolly Circle Club met with Mary Seaver, June 19. Hazel Gulliford, president, conducted the meeting. All repeated the pleadge to the flag. Nine members answered roll call with a happy rememberance of July 4. The club motto was repeated. The secretary gave her report. The president thanked members for their help with the Pettibon dinner. Thank you notes were read from Ivaa Bley and the Pettibon family.
The hostess read Proverbs 17: 1-4 and gave a "good thought." All prayed the Lord's Prayer. The hostess gift was won by Mary Ellen Lundberg. Winners at Bingo were Ruby Kennedy, Jane Peterson and Hazel Gulliford. Blackout was won by Mary Ellen Lundberg. There will be no meeting in July or August.
Lucile Wolf, Ruby Myers, and Delbert Schelling and his wife attended the funeral of Shirley Jean (Schilling) Cortner, at the Bedene Chapel, Arma, on June 19.
A Father's Day gathering was enjoyed at the home of Eldon and Pam Korinek. Those attending were Nole and Marvel Beerbower; Wendy and John Saldizar; Andrew and Susan Korinek; Kyla, Todd and Sherry Beerbower, Gil, Ryan, Austin and Lana Beerbower.
Dorothy Ketner, Beulah Queen and Esther Secrest enjoyed breakfast at the NuGrille, June 23.
The Meet and Eat Support Group met at the NuGrille for their monthy meeting, June 18. Those attending were Nadine Walker, Jeannine Seals, Dorothy Ketner, Virginia Martin, Esther Secrest and Irene Sutcliffe.
Jame Mururu preached at the Diamond Community Church, June 22.
