Breaking bread together cultivates friendships (1/23/08)Have you checked your water meter lid lately? I went out to read mine last week and the lid and the collar under it were gone. I have no idea what could have happened to it unless some of the truckers who go by here with loads of metal might have stopped and added them to their load. I called the water department and they came out right away and replaced the lid and collar. I hope it doesn't happen again...

Autumn themes show up everywhere (10/10/07)More than 100 people were in attendance at the annual Cherry Grove Baptist Church Homecoming. Guest were from Kansas City, Wichita, Parsons and Joplin, Mo.
