Marguerite Maxine Harlan, 93 years, of Ellsworth, Kan., formerly of Fort Scott, died on Aug. 9, 2013 at Villa Grace Nursing Home of the Good Samaritan Village in Ellsworth, Kan. She was born on Dec. 14, 1919 to Earl and Velma Smart Kennedy in Fort Scott, Kan. She married Leon Harlan on June 9, 1940. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 2004. Her parents and a sister Earline Heckman, also preceded her in death...
