The Query reunion was held Aug. 4 at Buck Run Community Center with 61 people in attendance. We had a wonderful carry-in dinner and a day of catching up on everything that had happened the past year. Terry Ray Tufnell, 21, Fort Scott, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday by the Bourbon County Sheriff's Office on two Bourbon County warrants for theft and criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle and is still being held at this time.

100 YEARS AGO (1912) St. Mary's School, at the corner of Seventh and Eddy streets, will open Sept. 9. Two sisters of St. Joseph will teach through the eighth grade.
