It was a busy day in "lock-up" at the Fort Scott Inn on Thursday, but all the "offenders" were there for a worthwhile cause -- raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Bail was set at $300 for each of the roughly 60 participants. Randall Readinger was one of the last to leave. Melting snow drives motorists to car washes

As the snow begins to melt, local car washes are getting a lot of business. John Horn, owner of Typhoon Bay car wash located on South National Avenue, said he has seen an upswing in the use of his facility since the snow and ice have melted off local roads.
