Tigers battle to championship of LaRoche varsity tourney

The Tigers scored two of their six runs in the inning on a single by Cannon, whose single in the sixth tied the game, 10-10.

The Fort Scott High School Tiger baseball team went 2-0 Thursday and advanced to the championship game of the LaRoche Varsity Baseball Tournament, which will be played today.
The Tigers (9-1) earned an 11-10 win over the Ottawa Cyclones in game one Thursday afternoon, then edged the Carl Junction Bulldogs 2-1 Thursday night.
