Raiders nip Lady Tigers in pitcher’s duel

The Frontenac Raiders edged the Fort Scott High School Lady Tigers 2-1 Monday at Don Hewett Field.

The Lady Tigers (4-1) took their first loss of the season despite out-hitting the Raiders, five hits to three. Fort Scott’s starting pitcher Kyndal Aikin, the losing pitcher, recorded 21 outs in the contest. Allie Brown led the Lady Tigers with two hits.
