County commissioners begin budget work

Bourbon County Commissioners have begun the process for delving into the 2026 budget.

During a work session Monday evening, commissioners and County Clerk Susan Walker discussed an overview of the county’s budget, as well as the responsibilities of the commission and other county staff concerning the budget and a projected timeline for the process.
