Lady Tigers finish 3-0, Tiger boys winless in Paola tourney

For the sec- ond straight season, the Fort Scott High School Lady Tiger basketball team captured a 3-0 record at the Paola Invitational Tournament.

While the Lady Tiger offense was a little more sluggish than usual, the defense was stifling in a 40-19 win over the Perry-Lecompton Lady Kaws Friday night.

The Tiger boys (0-3) tried to secure their first win of the season but Perry-Lecompton’s offensive three-point onslaught led to a 73-40 victory by the Kaws.
