Fort Scott firefighters receive high honor at state conference

On Oct. 31, Shift A with the Fort Scott Fire Department was honored during the Kansas State Association of Fire Chiefs Conference in Manhattan, Kan., with the Presidents Award given by the Kansas State Association of Fire Chiefs.

The award was presented to the firefighters for action they took to save a life on April 29, 2022.
