The fate of a downtown building with structural issues continues to be undetermined.
During Tuesday’s Fort Scott City Commission meeting, commissioners learned from Leroy Kruger, codes technician, that a scheduled inspection of a building at 118 E. Wall St., by a structural engineer on Monday was cancelled due to weather. The past several months, commissioners have discussed concerns with bulging, cracking and other issues leading to the building’s instability.
