Tuesday, October 29, 2024

The Fort Scott High School Tiger football team, a No. 4 seed in the East, will host Coffeyville-Field Kindley for the second Friday in a row – but this time, the stakes are a bit different.

The Tigers (5-3) wrapped up their regular season with a 22-6 win over the Golden Tornado (No. 13 seed, 2-6) Friday night at Frary Field. The Tigers will once again take on Coffeyville in the first round of the Class 4A State Football Championship Friday, with the winner advancing to regionals Friday, Nov. 8.
