City, geneaology society hashing out agreement for Memorial Hall space

Fort Scott City Commissioners on Oct. 15 tabled consideration of an agreement that would allow the Old Fort Genealogical Society to use the eastern side and lower level of Memorial Hall.

Aside from the move and expansion of the OFGS, there is also a plan to include a small museum and historical materials from the Katy Railroad. Officials plan to discuss a new agreement between the city and all entities involved before the commission takes action.
