New policy created in wake of USD 234 bus fire

USD 234 officials have developed procedures to help prevent future incidents after a district school bus caught fire Oct. 3 north of Fort Scott.

USD 234 Superintendent Destry Brown, Assistant Superintendent Terry Mayfield and board members discussed the bus accident and prevention during the Oct. 14 meeting of the USD 234 Board of Education.
