Early voting numbers show promise of high turnout for general election

Early voting figures in Bourbon County could be a sign of a boost in voter turnout for the Nov. 5 election.

During Monday’s Bourbon County Commission meeting, County Clerk Jennifer Hawkins said early voting began Monday and 278 voters cast ballots – the largest number she’s seen during her time in office.
