Carlene Mae (Trabert) Yakel

Carlene Mae (Trabert) Yakel, 64, passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada, Mo. She was born Feb. 15, 1961 in Garden City, Kan., to Carl and Verna (Keese) Trabert.

Carlene was a resident of Garden City until 1994, when she then moved to Fort Scott, Kan., and lived there until 2018. She then moved to Blue Springs, Mo., and then to Nevada, Mo., in 2021.

Cremation is planned and a service of remembrance is planned for Sept. 28, 2024 at Rinehart Christian Church, 9443 S. 900 Rd., Richards, Mo. Inurnment will take place at Lefler Cemetery in Harwood, Mo., at a later date.

At 10 a.m., there will be a visitation for friends and family. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. with meal to follow at the church.
