Lady Tiger netters open season with first place wins in Parsons

The Fort Scott High School varsity girls tennis team came away with a first-place finish in its first tournament of the season Wednesday in Parsons.

At the Parsons Invitational, the Lady Tigers finished first with 13 points, ahead of Parsons in second with 11 points, Independence in third with 11 points, Pittsburg in fourth with three points and Coffeyville in fifth with two points.
