Neptunes finish fifth at Webb City meet

Newcomer to the Nevada Neptunes, Gentry Sandon, reaches back during his 50-yard backstroke prelim at the Tri-State Swim Conference B Championships in Webb City on July 27-28. At 13 years old, this is Sandon’s first year as a competitive swimmer.

The Nevada Neptunes traveled to Webb City July 27 and 28 to participate in the Tri-State Swim Conference B Division Championship meet.

There was a total of 188 swimmers who participated in the championship meet, of which 15 were represented the Nevada Neptunes. The Neptunes finished in fifth place as a team out of 12 total teams participating.
