Voting machine issues, election budget addressed during commission meeting

The Bourbon County Clerk’s Office is working to address issues with voting machines as the Aug. 6 primary election draws near.

During the July 15 Bourbon County Commission meeting, County Clerk Jennifer Hawkins discussed funding for elections and errors discovered with ballots not feeding properly into the machines. Hawkins responded to citizen questions regarding the election budget and problems with voting machines.
