City to ask county for more money for dispatch service

City of Fort Scott officials on Tuesday discussed budgeting for the county’s dispatch center.

During the Fort Scott City Commission meeting, City Manager Brad Matkin said he provided commissioners with paperwork and as the city and county are moving into budget season, he wanted to plan a discussion for financing dispatch, including a possible request for an increase in funding from the county.
