School districts to receive funds through new state bill

School districts in Fort Scott and Uniontown will receive additional funding through recently-passed state legislation that funds K-12 education.

On May 15, Gov. Laura Kelly signed House Substitute for Senate Bill 387, which fully funds K-12 education for the sixth consecutive year and also invests dollars into fully funding special education, according to a news release.
