The sales tax issue passed, now where’s the ER?

As Bourbon County moves closer to bringing an emergency department and other healthcare services to the county, a recently-passed sales tax issue could be a step in the right direction.

Bourbon County Commission Chairman Jim Harris said Wednesday talks continue with healthcare entities, and he is “confident” some type of announcement will be made in the coming months.
