Search for city clerk replacement continues

The Uniontown City Council will start from scratch in its search for a new city clerk.

Uniontown Mayor Larry Jurgensen told the Tribune Wednesday the council will continue the process to replace current City Clerk Sally Johnson, who has announced her intent to step back from her current workload. Johnson has served as city clerk since 2013, and performs several other duties for the city. She has said she plans to continue working part-time with the city through the end of the year.
