Young Tigers seek to win third consecutive league championship

The Fort Scott Tiger youth football team has enjoyed success in recent years, and finds itself back in the league championship game after winning the title the last two years.

The Tigers, comprised of local fifth and sixth graders, are part of the Garnett Youth Football League Association. The Tigers are currently 5-1 after blanking the Louisburg Wildcats 24-0 in a week six playoff game Wednesday night at Frary Field to earn a spot in the league championship game, which is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 on that same field.
