Lady Tiger volleyball places second at Colgan, prepares for Sub-State

The Fort Scott High School Lady Tiger volleyball team finished in second place at a varsity tournament Saturday at St. Mary’s Colgan High School in Pittsburg.

The Lady Tigers (13-21 overall, 3-7 in the SEK) went 4-1 in the tournament, defeating Yates Center, Frontenac, Columbus and Jayhawk-Linn, while falling to Colgan in their final matches.

FSHS Head Coach Terra Kegler said the tournament replaced an annual tournament in El Dorado Springs, Mo., which Fort Scott did not compete in this year.
