Wilson tosses no-hitter as Tigers blank Field Kindley, 11-0

The Fort Scott High School Tiger varsity baseball team, behind senior Cody Wilson’s strong performance on the mound, shut out Field Kindley High School in the Tigers’ home opener Friday evening at Dave Regan Stadium.

Wilson struck out five hitters in five innings and also collected three hits at the plate, and junior outfielder Cedrik Martin smacked a grand slam over the right field fence in the third inning. The Tigers (2-2) collected nine hits and no errors, while the Golden Tornado recorded five miscues.
