USD 235 adopts budget

The Uniontown USD 235 Board of Education approved the 2022-23 budget with a decrease in the mill levy during its meeting Monday evening.

Bret Howard, part-time superintendent, said there has been a “slight” increase in assessed taxes due to an increase in valuations.

Estimated assessed valuations have gone from $17,931,632 to $17,877,880 in the general fund; $19,962,123 to $21,433,950 in all other funds. The mill levy has been set at 49.670.
