Deceased woman found near Wichita from Fort Scott

Preliminary indications suggest the death of a Fort Scott woman in Sedgwick County was the result of a drug overdose, according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

The official cause and manner of the woman’s death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office at a later date, a news release from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said.
