McCoy could be tapped as interim city manager

Mark McCoy will likely become the interim city manager for the City of Fort Scott.

During a special meeting Thursday, commissioners voted unanimously to enter into contract negotiations with McCoy, a Fort Scott businessman who is retired but remains active in the community.
