U-234 board applies for grant; hires new principal

The USD 234 Board of Education on Friday approved an application for federal grant funding and hired a new principal for Winfield Scott School.

During a special meeting, the board approved an application for Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief (ESSER) II funds to the Kansas State Department of Education.
