FSCC trustees change mask policy

Fort Scott Community College officials will make some changes to the college’s COVID-19 mitigation policies after action Monday by the FSCC Board of Trustees.

Following a recommendation from the college’s COVID-19 mitigation committee, masks or face coverings will be recommended, but not required, according to an FSCC statement.

Trustees and college officials discussed wording in the statement and situations that could arise due to the policy.
