Lady Tigers rally late, fall 13-10 on Senior Night

The Fort Scott Lady Tigers rallied late against the Chanute Lady Blue Comets but fell short of victory in Fort Scott’s final regular season game Thursday evening at Don Hewett Field.

Trailing 10-3 in the fourth, the Lady Tigers (8-12) scored four runs in the frame to edge closer and three in the fifth to tie the game, 10-10.

After a three-run homer by Chanute sophomore Brinly Bancroft in the top of the seventh, the Lady Tigers bounced back with a couple of baserunners but could not plate a run.
