Stacey Lynn Hauck of Frontenac, Kan., passed away on May 6, 2021 and went home to her Heavenly father, after fighting valiantly with ALS for three years.

Stacey was born on July 19, 1954 in Olathe, Kan., to Joseph D. Wilson and Charlyne Louise Wilson. She graduated from Fort Scott High School in 1972 and married Larry Hall. They had two daughters: Sherise Snider and Sarah Hall.

After Larry passed, she married Larry Hauck and her son Dylan Hauck was born. Stacey devoted her life to her sobriety for 33 years. She obtained her degree from Pittsburg State University with honors and started her career with the addiction treatment center and women’s reintegration in Pittsburg and Girard which lasted until she retired due to her ALS two years ago. She helped many people in her line of work to become sober and with her faith guided so many to sobriety. Stacey attended Lighthouse Tabernacle Church and lived her faith by helping others to find the Lord. She taught Sunday school until she was unable to do so. Her life was dedicated to the Lord.

Those who know her can appreciate her sense of humor and her uniqueness, we will never forget her laugh and her beautiful smile. She was entirely devoted to her children – Sherise, Sarah and Dylan. Her weekly Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays brought joy to her. She loved flowers and worked diligently to keep them beautiful year round. She was devoted to her grandchildren Seth, Maddie, Stevie, and Bella. Her life was full, happy and filled with love, laughter and joy.

Stacey is survived by: her children, Sarah Hall, of Frontenac, Sherise and Dylan of Pittsburg; four grandchildren, Seth, Maddie, Stevie and Bella; three sisters, Becky Stephan of Fort Scott, Kristy Bolden of Pittsburg and Robin Stoughton of South Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Hauck, her parents Joe and Charlyne Wilson and her niece, Shanna Lynn Stephen.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Pittsburg with Daryl Gaddy officiating. Burial will be at the National Cemetery Fort Scott, Kan., later that day at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
