County commissioners retain mask mandate for courthouse

Bourbon County Commissioners elected Tuesday to keep a mask mandate in place for the Bourbon County Courthouse.

Commission Chairman Lynne Oharah referenced a recent vote by Kansas lawmakers to revoke Gov. Laura Kelly’s statewide mask mandate. Commissioners and County Counselor Justin Meeks discussed enforcement of masks, vaccinations and the current state of the pandemic.
