Thomas "Thom" Lloyd Stewart

Thomas "Thom" Lloyd Stewart, 74, of Gladstone, MO, died February 25, 2021 following a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born on December 27, 1946 in Fort Scott, KS to Lloyd W Stewart and Ruth I (Cawlfield) Stewart. After graduating from Fort Scott Community College, he went to work at Sunshine Biscuits which became part of Kellogg Company making Cheez-Its. He remained there unitl his retirement the end of 2013 after 42 years of service.

He married Sharon Nininger June 7, 1986 and they had two children, Christina and Mary Joyce. He is survived by his wife Sharon and daughters Christina Stewart and Mary Joyce Plunkett; Son-in-law Darren L Plunkett; grandchildren Braden and Caydence Plunkett; brother Steve Stewart and Laurie Stewart; Sisters-in-law Jan (David) Anderson, Pat Nininger, and Connie (Jim) Armstrong; brothers-in-law Don Nininger and Doug Nininger; and five nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Services are postponed until June 19, 2021.
