Potent Pitt offense drops Lady Tigers, 50-39

The Lady Tigers fell 50-39 to a potent Pittsburg Lady Purple Dragon offense in a physical matchup Thursday night in the FSHS gym.
A two-pointer from Fort Scott freshman Keegan Yarick, one of the Lady Tigers’ leading scorers in the contest, started a late comeback as the Lady Tigers trailed 41-25 early in the fourth quarter. Harmony Shaw’s three cut the deficit further, to 43-28 with 4:25 left in the fourth quarter. Abby Altic sank two free throws with 3:48 left to cut the lead to 43-30.
