Pool to open with limitations

The City Commissioners on Tuesday voted unanimously to open the aquatic center on June 22, with a limit of up to 250 patrons at one time.

Chastity Ware, aquatic center director, spoke during the commissioners’ meeting about plans for reopening the aquatic center and still maintain safety precautions for the coronavirus pandemic.

In a typical year, the center opens Memorial Day weekend.
