VA clinic limits access

The VA Eastern Kansas remains open to Fort Scott Veterans, however visitors are limited.

The VA has implemented Tier 2 screening process, which includes controlled entry to ensure safety. The Fort Scott clinic remains open, but upon arrival to the clinic, VA staff will perform an administrative screen for active illness.

Non-emergent appointments are being rescheduled to limit risk of any infectious exposure to patients and staff.

The clinic is also utilizing secure messaging, video virtual care, and phone consultations as needed.
