The Bourbon County Commissioners signed their names Friday to five contracts with Apex Clean Energy of Charlottesville, Va., for the proposed Jayhawk Energy wind farm project in the southwestern area of the county.

The contracts were a road use agreement; contribution agreement; complaint resolution agreement; decommissioning agreement; and a development agreement.

After asking permission from Apex officials, Oharah read the first paragraph of each contract.
